If you're starting from downtown Amarillo, walk to the nearest bus stop on 6th Avenue. Take the Route 15 bus towards the Amarillo Botanical Gardens. The bus will take you directly to the stop closest to the gardens. Get off at the 'Streit Dr at 14th Ave' stop, which is a short walk from the main entrance of the gardens.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local bike rental shops in Amarillo, such as Amarillo Bikes. From downtown, head west on 6th Avenue until you reach Georgia Street. Turn left on Georgia Street and continue south until you reach 14th Avenue. Turn right on 14th Avenue and continue until you reach Streit Drive. The Amarillo Botanical Gardens will be on your left at 1400 Streit Dr.

If you are near the American Quarter Horse Hall of Fame, you can walk to the gardens. Head south on 15th Avenue until you reach Streit Drive. Turn left on Streit Drive and walk east for about half a mile. The entrance to the Amarillo Botanical Gardens will be on your right at 1400 Streit Dr.
