Getting There

• Public Bus

  To reach Wonderland Amusement Park via public transportation, start by locating the nearest Amarillo City Transit bus stop. You can catch the Route 12 bus, which travels from downtown Amarillo to the area near Wonderland Park. Ensure you board the bus heading towards the Dumas Drive stop. Once on the bus, listen for announcements or check the digital display to know when you are approaching Dumas Drive. After you get off at the Dumas Drive stop, walk east along Dumas Drive for about 0.2 miles. Wonderland Amusement Park will be on your left at 2601 Dumas Dr.

• Bicycle

  If you're opting to bike to Wonderland Amusement Park, start from downtown Amarillo and head north on Polk Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with I-40. Carefully cross the highway and take the bike path that leads to Dumas Drive. Follow Dumas Drive north for about 2 miles. The park will be on your right at 2601 Dumas Dr. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow all traffic rules.

• Walking

  For those who prefer walking, you can start from the Amarillo Civic Center located at 401 S Buchanan St. Head north on Buchanan Street until you reach 3rd Ave, then turn left. Continue walking on 3rd Ave until you reach the intersection with Dumas Dr. Turn right onto Dumas Drive and walk for approximately 1.5 miles. Wonderland Amusement Park will be on your left at 2601 Dumas Dr. It's a pleasant walk, but be sure to wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated.
