Walking
If you are in the heart of Downtown Austin, start at the intersection of 6th Street and Congress Avenue. Head west on 6th Street for two blocks until you reach the intersection with West Avenue. Turn left on West Avenue and walk for about 5 minutes. You will see the Pfluger Pedestrian Bridge ahead, crossing over Lady Bird Lake.
Public Transit (Bus)
You can take the Capital Metro bus service to reach the Pfluger Pedestrian Bridge. Look for Bus 4 or Bus 10 at one of the nearby stops on Congress Avenue. Board the bus and ride for approximately 5-10 minutes, depending on traffic. Get off at the stop for 3rd Street and West Avenue. From there, walk north on West Avenue for about 5 minutes, and you will arrive at the bridge.
Biking
If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike from one of the many bike-sharing stations in Downtown Austin. Start at any nearby station and head south on Congress Avenue. Cross Lady Bird Lake using the Congress Avenue Bridge, then turn right onto the bike path that leads directly to the Pfluger Pedestrian Bridge. The entire route should take you about 15-20 minutes.
