From downtown Austin, head south on Congress Ave toward the river, then turn left onto Barton Springs Rd. Continue straight for about 2 miles, and you will see Zilker Botanical Garden on your right. There is parking available nearby.

To reach Zilker Botanical Garden using public transportation, take the Capital Metro bus route 30 or 801 from downtown Austin. If you are near the Texas State Capitol, board the bus at the stop on 15th St. and Lavaca St. After approximately 20 minutes, get off at the stop for Barton Springs Rd and Zilker Park. From there, walk east for about 0.5 miles, following the signs towards Zilker Botanical Garden. The entrance will be on your left at 2220 Barton Springs Rd.
