    Car

    If you're traveling by car, start by getting onto I-35 S from your location in Central Texas. Follow I-35 S to exit 234A toward 15th St/US-290W. Merge onto W 15th St and continue until you reach TX-1 Loop S. Take the TX-1 Loop S exit toward Bee Caves Rd/Austin. Continue on TX-1 Loop S, then take the exit for Bee Caves Rd. Follow Bee Caves Rd to S Lamar Blvd, then turn left onto S Lamar Blvd. After a short drive, turn right onto Nature Center Dr and follow it to the Zilker Nature Preserve entrance at 301 Nature Center Dr, Austin, TX 78746. Parking is available, but be aware that it can fill up quickly, especially on weekends.

    Public Transportation

    For those using public transportation, begin your journey by taking a Capital Metro bus to downtown Austin. From there, transfer to the 30 or 3 bus routes, which will take you towards the Zilker area. Get off at the stop closest to the intersection of S Lamar Blvd and Nature Center Dr. Walk approximately 0.5 miles down Nature Center Dr to reach Zilker Nature Preserve.     Biking
