Getting There

• Public Bus

  If you are starting from the Galveston Island Historic Pleasure Pier, walk to the bus stop at 25th Street and Seawall Boulevard. Board the Island Transit Bus Route 1, heading towards the Galveston Terminal. After about 20 minutes, get off at the Seawolf Park stop. From there, it's a short walk to the Galveston Naval Museum located at 100 Seawolf Park Blvd. Follow the path leading to the park entrance, and you will see the museum ahead.

• Bicycle

  Rent a bicycle from one of the local bike rental shops in Galveston. Starting at The Strand Historic District, head east on Strand Street until you reach 20th Street. Turn left onto 20th Street and continue until you reach Seawall Boulevard. Turn right onto Seawall Boulevard and proceed south until you reach Seawolf Park. The museum is located at 100 Seawolf Park Blvd. There are bike racks available near the entrance.

• Walking

  If you are near the Galveston Fisherman's Wharf, you can walk to the Galveston Naval Museum. Head east on Harborside Drive until you reach 25th Street, then turn right and walk south for about 10 blocks until you hit Seawolf Park. Once you reach the park, walk toward the entrance at 100 Seawolf Park Blvd, and you will find the museum straight ahead.

• Taxi or Rideshare

  If you prefer a more direct route, you can use a taxi or rideshare service like Uber or Lyft.
