Public Transit - Bus
If you are starting from downtown Houston, head to the nearest bus stop at Main St and Capitol St. Take the METRO Bus 82 (Westheimer) towards the Westheimer @ Woodway stop. After about 20 minutes, get off at the Washington Ave @ Elder St stop. From there, walk southwest on Elder St for about 5 minutes, and you will arrive at American Statesmanship Park located at 1400 Elder St, Houston, TX 77007.
Public Transit - Light Rail
From the Main St Square Metro Light Rail Station, take the Green Line towards NRG Park. Transfer to the Red Line at the Fannin South Station and head towards Northline Transit Center. Get off at the Washington Ave Station. From the station, walk approximately 10 minutes west on Washington Ave, then turn right onto Elder St. Continue walking until you reach American Statesmanship Park at 1400 Elder St, Houston, TX 77007.
Walking
If you are already near the park, simply head to 1400 Elder St. For example, if you are at the nearby Buffalo Bayou Park, you can walk southeast along the trails towards Elder St. It will take about 15-20 minutes to reach the park, enjoying the scenic views along the way.
Bicycle
For those with access to a bike, you can ride from downtown Houston. Start on the Buffalo Bayou Trail, heading west. Follow the trail until you reach the intersection with Elder St. Turn left onto Elder St, and continue until you reach American Statesmanship Park at 1400 Elder St, Houston, TX 77007. The ride should take about 15-20 minutes, depending on your pace.
