MetroRail
If you're starting from downtown Houston, take the MetroRail from the Main Street Square station on the Red Line. Board the train heading towards the Northline Transit Center and ride for about 5 stops until you reach the 'Wheeler' station. At Wheeler station, transfer to the Green Line towards the 'Theatre District' and continue for 3 stops until you reach the 'Hermann Park/Rice U' station. From the 'Hermann Park/Rice U' station, catch the Metro Bus #75 (West Loop) from the bus stop right outside the station. Ride for 5 stops and get off at the 'Shepherd Dr @ Washington Ave' stop. After you disembark, walk east on Washington Avenue for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with Sabine Street. Turn left onto Sabine Street, and the Buffalo Bayou Park Cistern will be on your left at 105-B Sabine St.
