If you are in downtown Houston, walk to the Main Street Metro Light Rail station. Take the Red Line train heading towards the NRG Park. Get off at the 'Main Street Square' station. From there, transfer to the Green Line and take it to the 'Hermann Park/Rice U' station. After exiting, walk towards Walker Street and turn left. Continue walking until you reach McKinney Street. Turn right on McKinney, and the Henry Staiti House will be on your left at 4156 Walker-McKinney.
