    If you're in The Heights and prefer to walk, head south towards Washington Avenue. From there, take a left and continue walking until you reach Woodway Drive. Turn right on Woodway Drive and continue until you see the entrance to the Houston Arboretum & Nature Center on your left. This route is approximately 2 miles and should take about 40 minutes on foot.

    For those who enjoy cycling, you can rent a bike from a local bike-sharing service in The Heights. Start by cycling south on Heights Boulevard until you reach Washington Avenue. Turn left on Washington Avenue and cycle until you reach Woodway Drive. Turn right on Woodway Drive, and the Arboretum will be on your left. This route is about 2 miles and should take around 10-15 minutes, depending on your cycling speed.

    To use public transportation, locate the nearest bus stop in The Heights. You can take Bus Route 44 (Washington Avenue) heading towards the Memorial Park area.
