Public Bus
From the center of New Braunfels, walk to the nearest bus stop on East San Antonio Street. Take the Comal County Transit bus route 1 towards the New Braunfels Park & Ride. Ride for approximately 15-20 minutes until you reach the Park & Ride. From there, transfer to the Hill Country Transit District bus that goes towards Driftwood. Stay on the bus for about 25-30 minutes, and get off at the nearest stop to Lone Man Mountain Rd. Walk approximately 15-20 minutes south along Lone Man Mountain Rd to reach Wimberley Valley Winery at 2825 Lone Man Mountain Rd.
Bicycle Rental
Rent a bicycle from a local rental shop in New Braunfels. Head east on East San Antonio Street, then take a left onto South Walnut Avenue. Continue to Texas State Highway 46 and follow the highway westward for approximately 8 miles. Look for signs directing you to Driftwood. Upon reaching Driftwood, follow Lone Man Mountain Rd south until you arrive at Wimberley Valley Winery, located at 2825 Lone Man Mountain Rd. The ride may take around 45 minutes to an hour depending on your pace.
Walking
If you're feeling adventurous and want to walk, start from the center of New Braunfels. Head south along the Guadalupe River on the River Trail. Continue south for about 7 miles, which will take about 2-3 hours depending on your walking speed. Follow the signs towards Driftwood. Once you reach Lone Man Mountain Rd, turn left and walk for another 1 mile to reach Wimberley Valley Winery at 2825 Lone Man Mountain Rd.
