From downtown Amarillo, walk to the nearest bus stop at 6th Ave and Polk St. Take the Amarillo City Transit bus route 1 (Red route) heading towards the Amarillo Civic Center. Get off at the 10th Ave and I St stop. Walk north on I St until you reach 3160 I Ave, which is about a 10-minute walk. The Amarillo Railroad Museum will be on your left.

Start from the downtown area and ride west on 6th Ave until you reach I St. Then, turn left (south) onto I St and continue until you reach 3160 I Ave. The museum will be on your right.
