If you are in the center of Ayutthaya, you can rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops around the area. Start at Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Historical Park and head north on Rachadamnoen Road. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Naresuan Road. Turn left onto Naresuan Road and cycle until you reach the intersection with Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Road. Turn right and continue straight until you see the sign for Wat Pom Yai on your left. The temple is located at 33/5 Tambon Ban Pom.

Tuk-tuk
From the Ayutthaya Historical Park, you can easily find a tuk-tuk. Negotiate the fare, and tell the driver you want to go to Wat Pom Yai in Tambon Ban Pom. The ride should take about 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic. Make sure to confirm the fare before starting your journey.

If you prefer to walk, start from the Ayutthaya Historical Park. Walk along Rachadamnoen Road heading north until you reach the intersection with Naresuan Road. Turn left onto Naresuan Road and continue walking until you reach Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Road. Cross the road and walk in the direction of Ban Pom. After about 30-40 minutes of walking, you will see the sign for Wat Pom Yai on your left. It is advisable to wear comfortable shoes and carry water for the walk.

You can also opt for a motorbike taxi, which can be found at various points around Ayutthaya. Approach a motorbike taxi driver and request to go to Wat Pom Yai in Tambon Ban Pom. The driver will take you directly to the temple, and the fare is usually quite reasonable. Ensure to agree on the price before starting your ride.
