Getting There

• Walking

Look for the entrance of Silom 19 Alley, which is located between two buildings on Silom Road. Once you enter Silom 19 Alley, continue walking straight. The Reading Room, Bangkok is located at 2 Silom 19 Alley. It should be on your right side. The walk should take about 5-10 minutes depending on your starting point.

  If you are further away, you can take the BTS Skytrain to the Saladaeng Station. Board the Silom Line and disembark at Saladaeng Station. Once you exit the station, head towards Silom Road. Turn left onto Silom Road and look for Silom 19 Alley. Enter the alley and walk straight until you reach The Reading Room at 2 Silom 19 Alley. The total travel time from Saladaeng Station to The Reading Room is approximately 15 minutes.

  For a quicker option, consider taking a motorbike taxi. You can find motorbike taxi stands along Silom Road. Inform the driver that you want to go to 'The Reading Room, Silom 19 Alley'. The fare should range from 20 to 50 THB, depending on your distance from the location. The ride will typically take around 5-10 minutes, depending on traffic.

  Another option is to take a public bus that travels along Silom Road. Look for buses with routes that include stops at Silom. You can ask locals for the specific bus numbers. Once you get off at the nearest stop, walk towards Silom 19 Alley. The Reading Room will be a short walk down the alley. Note that bus fares are usually around 8-20 THB.
