  • Walking

    If you are staying in the Old City area, start at Tha Phae Gate. Head north on Ratchadamnoen Road for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Nimmanhaemin Road. Turn left onto Nimmanhaemin Road and continue for around 1.5 kilometers. You will pass by numerous cafes and boutique shops. At the intersection with Suthep Road, turn right. Continue walking for about 1 kilometer, and you will see Chiang Mai University on your left. The Night Market is located near the university entrance on Soi Suthep, just a short walk from the main road.

  • Public Transport (Songthaew)

    From the Old City or Nimmanhaemin area, look for a songthaew (red truck) that is heading towards Chiang Mai University. You can catch a songthaew from various points, including near Tha Phae Gate or at the Nimmanhaemin Road. Once you are seated, tell the driver 'Chiang Mai University' (they usually know the destination). The ride should take around 15-20 minutes. The songthaew will drop you off near the university entrance, and from there, you can walk about 5 minutes to the Night Market located on Soi Suthep.
