To get to Wat Ku Tao using a songthaew (red truck taxi), first head to any main road in Chiang Mai where you can catch one. Look for the songthaew with 'Chang Phueak' or 'Wat Ku Tao' written on it. Once you’re on board, inform the driver that you want to go to Wat Ku Tao. The driver will take you close to the temple. It’s a short ride, approximately 15-20 minutes from the city center. Once you arrive, you may need to walk a bit to reach the temple entrance, which is located near the sports field on Soi Ku Tao.

For a more private and quicker route, you can hire a tuk-tuk from your location. Simply tell the driver you want to go to Wat Ku Tao, located near the sports field on Soi Ku Tao in Chang Phueak. The ride should take around 15 minutes depending on traffic. Make sure to negotiate the fare before you start your journey.

If you're feeling adventurous and want to explore Chiang Mai at a slower pace, consider renting a bicycle. Start from the Old City area and head north towards Chang Phueak.
