Once you reach Mae Taeng, you will need to find another Songthaew or a motorbike taxi to take you to Wat Tham Bua Thong. It's about a 15-minute ride from Mae Taeng to the temple.

If you prefer, you can hire a Tuk-Tuk from any central location in Chiang Mai, such as the Night Bazaar or Tha Pae Gate. Negotiate the fare with the driver for a round trip to Wat Tham Bua Thong. The distance is approximately 30 kilometers, so expect to pay between 500 to 800 THB depending on your negotiation skills. The journey will take about 45 minutes to 1 hour.
