To reach Wat Densaleesrimuangkaen (Wat Ban Den) from central Chiang Mai, take a songthaew (red truck) from any nearby main road. Look for a songthaew that has 'Mae Taeng' written on it. Board the vehicle, and inform the driver you want to go to Wat Ban Den. The ride will take approximately 30-45 minutes depending on traffic. The songthaew will drop you off near the temple, and you may need to walk a short distance to reach the entrance.

You can also take a public bus to get to Wat Densaleesrimuangkaen (Wat Ban Den). Head to the Arcade Bus Station and look for the bus that goes to Mae Taeng. Once aboard, tell the bus driver your destination. The bus ride will take about 1 hour. After arriving in Mae Taeng, you may need to take a short songthaew ride or a tuk-tuk to reach the temple, as it is located a few kilometers from the bus drop-off point.
