Culinary highlight of Chiang Mai!

I have done a few tours with Urban Forage and this one was a highlight. I tried dishes I have never seen on any menu in Thailand and went to places I don't think I would have found by myself. Loved it. Highlight was the fermented noodle dish and the grandpa stop to taste local rice wine. Definitely recommend if you want to sive despertar into Northern Thai cuisibe!

Fantastic private tour with bonus photography lesson!

We booked a private tour, just 2 of us with a driver and guide. Our guide was John, he has over 40 years of guiding experience and loves to make sure everyone goes home with great photos of their experience. We covered a huge amount of ground on the tour, temples, street scenes and local food markets. John is a terrific guide and tailors the tour and his commentary to the knowledge and interests of his passengers. The EV tram is silent so no problem hearing the commentary as you travel. We were initially concerned that it was a "night* tour and that we would miss seeing things in daylight. However, the tour starts when its light and moves around the city in a way that ensures the best photo opportunities at each stop. The evening also means no crowds and cooler weather. Its the perfect time to see the city. We had a great time. This tour is a great introduction to Chiang Mai. Very highly recommended for first time visitors or those who have been many times before.
