Chiang Mai: Doi Suthep Park, Temples, and Hmong Village Tour

Good for solo travelers, couples, friends

This was a nice tour with beautiful views and informative guide. Each stop went relatively smoothly, but we had a hard time with some things because we brought a young toddler. We typically prefer DIY but wanted something organized and in a van that we could use a car seat in. Turns out our son didn't even want to be in the car seat (which we paid extra for) - he was cranky and also the seat couldn't be properly positioned because there wasn't much space in the front of the seat. We did an 8am tour thinking we could beat the heat or crowds, but the mountain is much cooler than the city. I wish we had done the afternoon tour because this tour went well past lunchtime and we were pretty hungry at the end. It's hard to eat snacks with the winding roads. I might have liked an option for a shorter itinerary without the Hmong village. I enjoyed that stop but a shorter tour option would be nice for families with toddlers. Lastly, we got dropped off on the street rather than in front of our lobby, and this was a rough ending to the tour.

Chiang Rai White, Red, Blue Temples Tour + Lunch (Fr. Chiang Mai)

Visit to the White temples. Blue and red

The temple tour is fantastic. We had a very beautiful day. We had a very friendly guide who took her time to explain the history of the buildings. We ate in front of the White Temple. The meal was excellent and local
