Start from the center of Chiang Rai, at the bus terminal or near the Night Bazaar. Look for a songthaew (red truck) that has a sign indicating 'Mae Kon' or ask the driver if they go to Boon Rawd Farm. The fare is usually around 20-30 baht. The ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Ask the driver to drop you off at the main entrance of Boon Rawd Farm, which is located near Mae Kon.
Motorbike Taxi
If you're near the Night Bazaar or a hotel in the city center, you can hire a motorbike taxi. Negotiate the fare (around 100-150 baht) and tell the driver you want to go to Boon Rawd Farm in Mae Kon. The ride will take about 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic. Make sure to wear a helmet for safety.
Bicycle Rental
For a more adventurous option, rent a bicycle from a local shop in Chiang Rai. Head south on Phaholyothin Road until you reach the intersection with Highway 1.
