From the center of Chiang Rai, locate a songthaew (shared taxi) station, often found near the Chiang Rai Night Bazaar or the main bus station. Tell the driver you're going to Mae Yao. The fare should be around 30-50 THB. The journey will take about 30 minutes. Ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest point to Unnamed Road, Mae Yao, as Ruammit Elephant Camp is located off this road.
