Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the entrance of Doi Suthep-Pui National Park. Drive along the main road and follow the signs for Doi Pui. Continue driving up the mountain road for approximately 7 kilometers until you reach a fork. Take the left fork towards Pong Yaeng. Continue for another 5 kilometers. Look for signs indicating Doi Pa Klong Viewpoint. Park in the designated area at the viewpoint. Note that parking may incur a small fee.

Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, take a songthaew (shared taxi) from Chiang Mai to Doi Suthep-Pui National Park. Ask the driver to drop you off at the entrance of the park. From there, you can hire a local songthaew that goes directly to Doi Pa Klong Viewpoint. Make sure to negotiate the fare beforehand; it usually costs around 200-300 THB per person for a round trip. The driver will wait for you while you enjoy the viewpoint.

Hiking
For the adventurous, you can hike to Doi Pa Klong Viewpoint from the nearest trailhead in the park. Start at the Doi Pui Trail located near the entrance of the park. The hike is approximately 3 kilometers and takes around 1.5 to 2 hours to reach the viewpoint. Make sure to wear appropriate hiking shoes and bring water. Follow the signs along the trail leading to the Doi Pa Klong area.
