    If you are driving, head towards Doi Suthep-Pui National Park from Chiang Mai city. Take Huay Kaew Road and follow the signs for Doi Suthep. After about 30 minutes, you will reach the entrance of the national park. There is a small entrance fee of around 30 THB per person. Once you enter the park, continue on the winding road until you reach the parking area near Wat Pha Lat, which is located at the bottom of the Doi Suthep Hiking Trail.

  • Public Transportation (Songthaew)

    To reach Wat Pha Lat via public transportation, take a Songthaew (shared taxi) from the Chiang Mai Old City area. Look for Songthaews that have 'Doi Suthep' written on them, which usually depart from near Tha Phae Gate. The fare is typically around 30-50 THB per person. Request the driver to drop you off at Wat Pha Lat. From the drop-off point, you will see the entrance to the hiking trail that leads to the temple.
