From the main entrance of Doi Suthep-Pui National Park, drive towards Chiang Mai. Take the highway 121 and follow the signs for Chiang Mai city center. Once you reach the city, continue straight until you reach Prapokkloa Road. Wat Phantao will be on your left at 105 Prapokkloa Rd, Si Phum, Mueang Chiang Mai District. Parking may be limited, so look for nearby parking areas or street parking.

Public Transportation - Songthaew
From the entrance of Doi Suthep-Pui National Park, head down to the nearest main road where you can catch a songthaew (red truck taxi) heading to the city. Inform the driver that you want to go to Wat Phantao. The fare is typically around 30-50 THB per person. Once you arrive in the city, ask the driver to let you off at Prapokkloa Road, and walk a short distance to the temple.

Public Transportation - Tuk-tuk
At the main entrance of Doi Suthep-Pui National Park, you can hire a tuk-tuk for a direct ride to Wat Phantao. Negotiate the fare with the driver beforehand; it should be around 150-200 THB for the trip. The tuk-tuk will drop you off directly at the temple entrance located at 105 Prapokkloa Rd, Si Phum, Mueang Chiang Mai District.
