Getting There

• Songthaew

  From your current location in Koh Samui, you can take a Songthaew (shared pickup truck) to Maenam. Look for a Songthaew heading towards Maenam or the northern beaches. They usually have a sign on the front indicating their route. Once on board, inform the driver that you want to go to 'Walking Street Maenam'. The journey should take around 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. The Songthaew will drop you off at the market area in Maenam, just a short walk from the walking street itself.

• Motorbike Taxi

  If you prefer a quicker option, you can hire a motorbike taxi. Look for a designated motorbike taxi stand or ask at your accommodation for assistance. Once you find a driver, tell them you want to go to 'Walking Street Maenam'. The ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes, and it’s a fun way to experience the local traffic. Make sure to wear a helmet, which the driver will provide.

• Bicycle Rental

  For a more adventurous option, consider renting a bicycle. Many shops in Koh Samui offer bicycle rentals. Once you have a bike, head north towards Maenam by following the main road. Keep an eye out for signs pointing towards Maenam Beach. After about 30 minutes of cycling, you will reach Walking Street Maenam. Enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way!

• Walking

  If you are staying nearby in the Maenam area, you can walk to Walking Street Maenam. Simply head towards the main road and follow the signs leading to Maenam Beach. Depending on your starting point, it could take around 20-30 minutes. Enjoy the local shops and scenery as you walk!
