If you are traveling by car, start from the main area of Koh Tao (Sairee Beach is a common starting point). Head south on the main road (Sai Nuan Beach Road) for about 3 kilometers. After passing through the main village area, continue straight until you see signs for 'King Rama V Rock.' Follow the signs, and you'll eventually reach a small parking area near the statue. Be prepared for some steep and narrow roads as you approach the site.

Renting a motorbike is a popular way to explore Koh Tao. Start at your accommodation and head toward the main road. Follow the same route as for cars, taking Sai Nuan Beach Road south for about 3 kilometers. Keep an eye out for 'King Rama V Rock' signs. The roads can be steep, so drive cautiously. There are parking spots available near the statue.

Songthaew (Shared Taxi)
To use a songthaew, find one that is heading towards the southern part of Koh Tao. Ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest point to 'King Rama V Rock.' The ride should cost around 50-100 THB per person depending on your starting point. Once dropped off, it may require a short walk to reach the statue. Confirm the drop-off point with the driver.

If you are staying nearby, you can walk to King Rama V Rock. From Sairee Beach, head south, following Sai Nuan Beach Road. It will take approximately 30-45 minutes of walking. Along the way, enjoy the scenery and beach views. Be aware that the last stretch to the statue involves a bit of uphill walking. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes.
