From the center of Mae Hong Son, start at the Mae Hong Son Walking Street (near the clock tower). Head west on the main road (Soi 1) until you reach the intersection with the road leading to Pang Mu. Turn left onto the road to Pang Mu. Continue walking along this road for approximately 3 kilometers. You will pass by local shops and eateries along the way. Look for signs pointing towards the Huai Mae Hong Son Reservoir. As you approach, you will see the reservoir on your left. Follow the signs and take the path leading down to the water.

Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Mae Hong Son. Start at the Mae Hong Son Walking Street and head west on the main road (Soi 1). When you reach the intersection with the road to Pang Mu, turn left. Continue cycling for about 3 kilometers, enjoying the scenic views. Keep an eye out for signs to Huai Mae Hong Son Reservoir. As you get closer, you will see the reservoir on your left side. There will be a path leading down to the water where you can park your bicycle.

Motorbike
If you have rented a motorbike, start from the Mae Hong Son Walking Street. Head west on the main road (Soi 1) and turn left at the intersection leading to Pang Mu. Ride along this road for about 3 kilometers. Look for signs indicating Huai Mae Hong Son Reservoir. As you approach the reservoir, you will see it on your left. There are parking spaces available near the entrance to the reservoir area.

Hail a tuk-tuk from the Mae Hong Son Walking Street. Tell the driver you want to go to Huai Mae Hong Son Reservoir. The driver will take you along the main road (Soi 1) and turn left at the intersection towards Pang Mu. The journey takes about 10-15 minutes. Inform the driver to drop you off at the reservoir entrance, which will be on your left side.
