From the center of Mae Hong Son, start at the Mae Hong Son Walking Street (near the clock tower). Head west on the main road (Soi 1) until you reach the intersection with the road leading to Pang Mu. Turn left onto the road to Pang Mu. Continue walking along this road for approximately 3 kilometers. You will pass by local shops and eateries along the way. Look for signs pointing towards the Huai Mae Hong Son Reservoir. As you approach, you will see the reservoir on your left. Follow the signs and take the path leading down to the water.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Mae Hong Son. Start at the Mae Hong Son Walking Street and head west on the main road (Soi 1).
