From the center of Mae Hong Son, head to the local Songthaew station, which is typically located near the main market area. Look for a Songthaew that is heading towards Pai. Once you board, inform the driver that you want to stop at Mueang Paeng Hot Spring. The ride should take about 30-45 minutes, depending on traffic. The Songthaew will drop you off at the main road near the hot springs. From there, you will need to walk approximately 1 kilometer along a dirt path which will lead you directly to the hot springs.
Motorbike Rental

If you prefer more independence, you can rent a motorbike in Mae Hong Son. Rental shops can be found throughout the town, especially near the main market area. After renting, head out of Mae Hong Son town on Route 1095 towards Pai. After about 20 kilometers, look for signs indicating Mueang Paeng Hot Spring. Turn off the main road and follow the signs to the hot springs, which is approximately 5 kilometers down a smaller road. Make sure to wear a helmet and drive safely, as the roads can be winding.
Bicycle Rental
