Getting There

  • Car

    If you are traveling by car, start from Pai town. Head east on Route 1095, the main road connecting Pai to other towns in Northern Thailand. After approximately 8 km, look for signs directing you to Pai Canyon, which is located on the left side of the road. Turn left onto the access road, which leads you directly to the parking area near the canyon entrance. Parking is available for free.

  • Public Bus

    If you prefer public transportation, take a local bus or minivan from Chiang Mai to Pai. Buses leave from the Arcade Bus Station in Chiang Mai and the journey takes about 3-4 hours. Once you arrive in Pai, you can rent a scooter or hire a songthaew (shared taxi) to Pai Canyon. The songthaew ride will cost approximately 100-200 THB per person and takes around 20 minutes to reach the canyon.

  • Scooter Rental
