Once in Ngao, follow local signs towards the Mae Kae Waterfall, which is located on an unnamed road near Ban On. The final stretch may involve navigating some unpaved roads, so drive carefully. Parking is available near the waterfall.

For those using public transportation, take a bus from Chiang Mai to Lampang. Buses frequent this route, and the journey takes around 2-3 hours. Once you arrive at Lampang bus station, you should take a local taxi or songthaew to Ngao District. The fare should be around 200-300 THB. Upon reaching Ngao, request to be dropped off at the entrance to Mae Kae Waterfall. Make sure to confirm with the driver as many local drivers may not be familiar with the waterfall by name.
