Travel Guide to Khao pak chong Lomsak View Point

Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, start from the center of Lom Sak District. Head southeast on Route 12 (Phetchabun - Lom Sak Road). Continue for approximately 10 kilometers until you reach the junction with Route 21. Turn left onto Route 21 and drive for about 5 kilometers. You will see signs for Khao Pak Chong Lomsak View Point. Turn right at the signs and follow the narrow road for about 2 kilometers to reach the viewpoint parking area. Please note, there may be a small parking fee of around 20-30 THB.

• Public Transportation

  If you are using public transportation, take a local bus from Phetchabun Bus Terminal to Lom Sak District. The journey takes about 1.5 hours and costs approximately 50-70 THB. Once you arrive at the Lom Sak Bus Terminal, you can hire a local songthaew (shared taxi) to Khao Pak Chong Lomsak View Point. This ride will take around 20 minutes and may cost approximately 100-150 THB, depending on the number of passengers. Make sure to negotiate the fare before starting the ride.

• Motorbike Rental

  For those feeling adventurous, renting a motorbike is a great option. You can rent a motorbike in Lom Sak for approximately 200-300 THB per day. From the rental shop, head southeast towards Route 12 and follow the same route as the car directions. Enjoy the scenic ride through the mountains, but be cautious of the winding roads. Remember to wear a helmet and drive safely. Parking at the viewpoint is usually free.
