If you are driving, head towards Mueang Phayao District. From the center of Mueang Phayao, take Route 1 (Phahonyothin Road) heading north. Continue for approximately 12 kilometers until you reach the turnoff for Ban Tam. Look for the sign indicating the direction to Champa Thong Waterfall. Turn onto the local road and follow the signs for about 5 kilometers. You will find a parking area near the waterfall entrance.

To reach Champa Thong Waterfall by public transport, take a bus or minivan from the Phayao Bus Station to Ban Tam. The journey takes about 30 minutes, and the fare is around 30-50 THB. Once you arrive in Ban Tam, you can hire a local songthaew (shared taxi) for about 100 THB to take you directly to the waterfall entrance. Make sure to negotiate the fare before getting in.
