Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from the center of Phu Kradueng, start by heading north on Phu Kradueng Road towards Si Than. Continue for about 10 km until you reach the entrance of Phu Kradueng National Park. Upon entering the park, follow the signs directing you to the Than Sawan waterfall. The parking area is available near the entrance, but note that there may be a small entrance fee for the park, typically around 200 THB for adults and 100 THB for children.

• Public Transportation

  If you prefer public transportation, you can take a local songthaew (shared taxi) from Phu Kradueng town to the entrance of Phu Kradueng National Park. The fare is usually around 30-50 THB per person. Once you arrive at the park entrance, you will need to either walk or hire a guide, as the Than Sawan waterfall is approximately a 1.5 to 2-hour hike from the entrance. Ensure you wear comfortable shoes and carry sufficient water for the hike.

• Hiking

  After entering Phu Kradueng National Park, follow the marked trails leading to Than Sawan waterfall. The path is well-maintained but can be steep in some sections. It's advisable to start early in the day to avoid the heat and ensure you have ample time to enjoy the waterfall. Along the way, you will pass through beautiful forested areas, so be sure to take in the scenery. The waterfall is located at approximately latitude 16.8830501 and longitude 101.7755224, so keep an eye on your surroundings to ensure you remain on the correct path.
