From your location in Patong Beach, head to the main road (Rat-U-Thit 200 Pee Road). Look for a Tuk-Tuk, which are common and easy to find. Tell the driver you want to go to Bang Wad in Kathu District. The ride will take about 15-20 minutes. Once you reach Kathu, the driver will drop you off near the entrance of the lake area.

Find a Songthaew (shared taxi) along the main road in Patong. Look for the ones heading towards Phuket Town. You can ask the driver if they stop at Bang Wad; if they do, hop on and enjoy the ride for about 30 minutes. If not, you may need to transfer. Get off at the main intersection in Kathu and take another Songthaew that goes towards Bang Wad.
