Once at the bus terminal, look for the bus heading towards 'Makham Tia'. The journey will take approximately 30-45 minutes. Make sure to tell the bus driver your destination, Thale Sap Khun Thale, so they can let you know when to get off. The bus will drop you off at a nearby stop in Makham Tia, from where you can walk to Thale Sap Khun Thale, which is about a 10-minute walk.

Alternatively, you can take a songthaew from Surat Thani city center directly to Makham Tia. Head to the main street and find a songthaew heading in that direction. It may take longer than the bus, but it’s a more local experience. Once you arrive in Makham Tia, ask the driver to drop you off near Thale Sap Khun Thale or follow the signs towards the lake, which is roughly a 10-minute walk from the main road.
