If you are starting from the Ubon Ratchathani Bus Station, head east on Phibun Songkhram Road for about 1.5 kilometers. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Thung Si Muang Road. Turn right onto Thung Si Muang Road and walk for approximately 1 kilometer, passing by several shops and local eateries. Continue straight until you see a large roundabout. The Monument of Merit (ex-POW WW2 Memorial) is located just after the roundabout on the left side, near the Ubon Ratchathani Provincial Stadium.

Find a tuk-tuk at any major intersection or near your hotel. Inform the driver that you want to go to the Monument of Merit (ex-POW WW2 Memorial). The approximate fare should be around 30-50 Baht, depending on your starting location. The driver will take you through the city, and you can ask them to drop you off near the large roundabout close to the memorial.

Look for a local bus heading towards the Ubon Ratchathani Provincial Stadium. The bus fare is usually around 10-20 Baht. Get off at the nearest stop to the stadium, which is only a short walk away from the Monument of Merit. Once you disembark, walk towards the stadium and you will spot the memorial on your left after the roundabout.
