If you are driving from the main entrance of Abuko Nature Reserve, start by heading south on the main road. Continue straight for approximately 2 kilometers until you reach a roundabout. Take the second exit at the roundabout onto Bertil Harding Highway (also known as the Coastal Road). Continue on Bertil Harding Highway for about 1.5 kilometers. Officers' Smell is located on the right side of the highway at coordinates F74X+6CC, near Serrekunda. Look for signage indicating the park area.

Public Transportation
To reach Officers' Smell via public transport, walk to the nearest bus stop outside of Abuko Nature Reserve. Look for a 'Gambia transport bus' heading towards Serrekunda. The fare is approximately 10-20 dalasi (around $0.20 - $0.40 USD). Inform the driver that you wish to get off at Bertil Harding Highway. Once you arrive at the highway, walk east for about 300 meters. Officers' Smell will be on your right-hand side. Be prepared to flag down the bus when you see it approaching, as they often do not stop unless signaled.
