Begin your journey in Foni Bintang-Karenai by heading towards Banjul. Use the main roads connecting to the A1 highway. Follow the A1 highway south until you reach the ferry terminal at Barra. The distance is approximately 40 km and will take around 45 minutes by car. Once you arrive at the terminal, you will need to pay a ferry fee, which is approximately 25 Dalasi for local passengers. Board the ferry to Banjul, which takes about 30 minutes. After disembarking in Banjul, navigate towards the city center, where you can explore Banjul Island.

Public Transportation
Start your journey by taking a shared taxi (also known as 'Gele-Gele') from Foni Bintang-Karenai to Barra. The fare is around 50 Dalasi. Once you arrive at Barra, you will need to buy a ticket for the ferry, which costs approximately 25 Dalasi. Board the ferry to Banjul, which typically departs every 30 minutes. After arriving in Banjul, you can either walk to the city center or take a local taxi to reach Banjul Island.
