Car
If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Sami and head south on the main road. Continue straight until you reach the junction at Lamin, where you will take a left turn towards Bakau. Follow the road signs towards Bakau, and once you enter the city, look for signs directing you to Kachikally Crocodile Pool. The pool is located at F8GG+PXQ, Bakau. There is a small entrance fee of around 50 Dalasi (GMD) per person to access the pool.
Public Transportation (Bush Taxi)
To reach Kachikally Crocodile Pool using public transportation, find a bush taxi heading to Bakau. These taxis are generally located at designated taxi stands in Sami. Once you board, inform the driver of your destination. The ride will take approximately 30-45 minutes, depending on traffic. Upon arriving in Bakau, you can either walk or take a local taxi to F8GG+PXQ, where the crocodile pool is located. The entrance fee is approximately 50 Dalasi (GMD).
Walking (from Bakau)
If you find yourself in Bakau after using public transport, you can walk to Kachikally Crocodile Pool. From the Bakau bus stop, head east along the main road. Keep an eye out for signs pointing towards the crocodile pool. The walk should take about 15-20 minutes. Make sure to follow the local traffic rules and stay safe while walking on the roads.
