Car
If you're traveling by car from any location in Central Region, Togo, head towards the border with Ghana. Depending on your starting point, you may take Route Nationale N°1 towards the southeast until you reach the border at Aflao. Ensure you have your travel documents ready as you will need to pass through customs. Once in Ghana, continue on the N1 road towards Accra, then take the exit onto the N10 towards Mole National Park. Follow the signs for the park, and expect to pay a small toll fee on the highway.
Public Transport
For those opting for public transport, start by taking a bus from your location in Central Region to Lomé, Togo's capital. From Lomé, find a bus or shared taxi heading to Aflao at the border. After crossing into Ghana, look for a bus or shared taxi to Tamale. In Tamale, you can find shuttles or local buses that will take you directly to Mole National Park. Be aware that it's advisable to confirm the schedule and book your tickets in advance, as availability may vary.
Local Transport
Upon reaching Mole National Park, you may need to hire a local guide or vehicle to explore the park itself, as the terrain may not be easily navigable without a proper 4x4 vehicle. Be prepared for an additional cost for this service, which varies based on the duration and type of tour you choose.
