Car
If you are traveling by car, start by heading to the town center of Mount Agou. From there, take the Route Nationale 1 (RN1) heading northwest towards the village of Agou. Continue on RN1 for approximately 10 kilometers until you reach the junction near the village of Kpimé. Turn left onto the road marked towards the Togo Mountains. Follow this road for about 5 kilometers, and you will find designated parking areas near the base of the mountains. Ensure to have cash on hand for any parking fees, which can range from 500 to 2000 CFA Francs, depending on the area.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, you can take a bush taxi (shared taxi) from Mount Agou towards Kpimé. The bush taxi stand is located near the main market. The fare to Kpimé is usually around 300 CFA Francs. Once you arrive in Kpimé, you will need to find a local taxi or motorcycle taxi (zemidjan) to take you to the Togo Mountains. The fare for this short ride is approximately 1000 CFA Francs. Make sure to negotiate the price before starting your journey.

If you prefer a more adventurous route, you can hike to the Togo Mountains from the parking area. The hike can take around 1-2 hours depending on your fitness level. There are well-marked trails, but it's advisable to hire a local guide for safety and to enhance your experience. Guide fees typically range from 5000 to 10000 CFA Francs for a half-day tour.
