Take a right turn towards the direction of Mount Afadja. Drive for another 15-20 minutes until you see signage indicating the entrance to the Mount Afadja area. There is a parking area where you can leave your car. Please note that parking may incur a small fee, usually around 1,000 CFA francs.
Public Transportation
From Mount Agou Area, locate the nearest bus or shared taxi station. Look for a vehicle heading towards Agou. The fare is approximately 500 CFA francs. Once you arrive in Agou, you will need to find a local taxi or moto-taxi that can take you to Mount Afadja. The ride will cost around 1,000 CFA francs and take about 15-20 minutes. Ensure to negotiate the fare before starting your journey.
Hiking
For those looking to hike to Mount Afadja, start your journey from the parking area mentioned earlier. Follow the marked trails leading up to the mountain peak. The hike is moderate in difficulty and takes roughly 1.5 to 2 hours depending on your pace. Make sure to wear appropriate hiking shoes and bring water.
