Getting there

Car

If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Kpalime. Head southeast on Avenue du 4 Août towards Rue du 24 Janvier. Continue for about 2 kilometers until you reach the junction near the Kpalime market. Take a left onto Route Nationale 1, following signs for Mount Agou. After approximately 15 kilometers, look for signs pointing towards Kouma konda. The final stretch will be a scenic drive up the mountain, so take your time and enjoy the views. Park at the designated area near the Kouma konda trailhead.

Public Transportation

To reach Kouma konda via public transportation, head to the main bus station in Kpalime. Look for a 'bush taxi' or shared taxi heading towards Mount Agou. The fare should be around 1,000 XOF (West African Francs). Inform the driver that you're going to Kouma konda. The drive will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the nearest drop-off point, be prepared for a short hike of approximately 20-30 minutes to reach Kouma konda. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water.

Hiking

If you are already in the Mount Agou area and prefer hiking, you can start your trek from a nearby village. Follow the marked hiking trails that lead towards Kouma konda.
