Car
If you are traveling by car from any location in the Mount Agou Area, head towards the town of Agou. From Agou, take the route towards Kpalimé. After approximately 10 km, you will see signs for the Togo Mountains. Follow these signs, and you will reach a parking area at the base of the mountain. The drive takes about 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic conditions.
Public Transportation (Taxi)
To reach the Togo Mountains via public transportation, you can take a shared taxi (known locally as 'sept-place') from Agou to Kpalimé. Shared taxis leave frequently from the main taxi station in Agou. Inform the driver you want to go to the Togo Mountains. The fare is around 1,000 CFA francs. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you reach the Kpalimé area, you may need to hire a motorcycle taxi (bicycle taxi) to take you closer to the mountain entrance, which will cost around 500 CFA francs.
Walking
If you prefer to explore on foot after reaching the base of the Togo Mountains, you can walk along the designated trails. Ensure you have proper hiking gear and plenty of water. The trails are well-marked, but it's advisable to have a local guide for better navigation and safety.
