From the center of Kolovai, head towards the beach. Walk along the coastline heading southeast. Continue walking for about 15 minutes until you reach the main road (Liku Road). Turn left onto Liku Road and follow it for approximately 30 minutes. You should see signs for the Turtle Sanctuary as you approach. The sanctuary is located at the address VR5M+M55, Nuku'alofa, which is a bit inland from the coast. Look for a pathway leading to the sanctuary entrance.

If you have access to a bicycle, start from Kolovai and cycle southeast along the coastal road towards Liku Road. This scenic route will take around 20-25 minutes. Once you reach Liku Road, turn left and continue for about 30 minutes. Keep an eye out for signs indicating the Turtle Sanctuary, which will be on your right as you approach VR5M+M55, Nuku'alofa.

Catch a local bus or shared taxi from Kolovai heading towards Nuku'alofa. Inform the driver that you want to visit the Turtle Sanctuary (they may know the location as it's a tourist attraction). The journey may take around 15-20 minutes. Once you reach the vicinity of VR5M+M55, ask the driver to drop you off as close to the sanctuary entrance as possible, and you can walk the remaining distance.
