Walking
From the center of Neiafu, head southwest on Hala Tahi towards the waterfront. Continue along the waterfront road until you reach the Tongan Village Market. From there, take the road leading out of Neiafu towards Houma. Keep walking straight for approximately 5 kilometers. You will pass a few small villages and local shops along the way. Once you reach Houma, look for signs directing you to the Mapu'a Vaea Blowholes, which will be on your left. Follow the path leading down to the blowholes.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Neiafu. Start your ride by heading southwest on Hala Tahi, then turn towards the waterfront. Cycle along the waterfront road until you reach the Tongan Village Market. Continue along this road out of Neiafu, which leads directly to Houma. The ride is about 5 kilometers and will take you through beautiful scenery. When you arrive in Houma, look for the signs to the Mapu'a Vaea Blowholes and follow them to your destination.

If you prefer not to walk or cycle, you can find a local taxi in Neiafu. Tell the driver you want to go to the Mapu'a Vaea Blowholes in Houma. The taxi will take you directly there, which is about 5 kilometers away. Make sure to agree on a fare before starting your trip, as taxis may not have meters.
