Getting There

Walking
From the center of Arima, head west on King Street towards the Arima River. Continue walking until you reach the junction with Eastern Main Road. Turn left onto Eastern Main Road. Walk straight for about 15 minutes, passing shops and local eateries. You will eventually reach a large roundabout. Take the second exit onto Western Main Road. The Chaguaramas Boardwalk will be on your right-hand side after a short walk.

From Arima Bus Terminal, take a bus heading towards Chaguaramas. Buses usually leave every 30 minutes. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the stop closest to the Chaguaramas Boardwalk. After disembarking, walk along Western Main Road for approximately 5 minutes and you will see the boardwalk ahead.

Find a local taxi at any taxi stand in Arima, especially near the Arima Bus Terminal. Ask the driver to take you to Chaguaramas Boardwalk on Western Main Road. The ride should take about 20-30 minutes depending on traffic. Confirm the fare before getting in, as it can vary.
