Getting There

Public Bus
From Arima, head to the Arima Bus Terminal located on Queen Street. Look for a bus heading towards Port of Spain; the fare is approximately TT$5. Once you board the bus, inform the driver that you want to stop at the Royal Botanic Gardens. The bus will take you along the Eastern Main Road to Port of Spain. After about 30-40 minutes, get off at the stop closest to Circular Road. From there, walk about 5 minutes to reach the entrance of the Royal Botanic Gardens.

Taxi
You can hail a taxi from any location in Arima. Simply request to go to the Royal Botanic Gardens on Circular Road, Port of Spain. The taxi ride will take approximately 30 minutes, depending on traffic, and the fare will generally range from TT$100 to TT$150. The driver will take you directly to the entrance of the gardens.

If you are near the Arima Market, you can walk towards the Arima Bus Terminal and follow the steps above for taking a public bus. However, if you prefer walking, it is not advisable to walk to Port of Spain due to the distance (approximately 20 kilometers). Instead, walk to the bus terminal and take public transport for convenience.
