From Chaguanas, walk to the main bus terminal located on the corner of Main Street and Montrose Road. Look for a bus heading to 'La Lune' or 'Macqueripe'. The bus fare is usually around TT$5-6. After approximately 30 minutes, you will reach the stop near the entrance to Macqueripe Bay. After getting off, walk down the path that leads to the bay, and you will arrive at your destination.

To take a taxi from Chaguanas to Macqueripe Bay, head to the nearest taxi stand, typically found near the Chaguanas market area. Inform the driver that you want to go to Macqueripe Bay. The journey will take about 20-25 minutes and should cost approximately TT$60-80. The taxi will drop you off near the entrance to the bay, from where you can walk a short distance to access the beach.

If you are feeling adventurous and up for a walk, you can head towards the Southern Main Road from the center of Chaguanas, then follow the signs towards Macqueripe Bay. It is about a 4-hour walk, so wear comfortable shoes and bring water. You will pass through several neighborhoods and scenic views along the way, eventually reaching the entrance to Macqueripe Bay.
